for Adawk LLC

Last Updated: 19 August 2026

Adawk LLC (“Adawk,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the website adawk.com and provides digital marketing, advertising, design, and related services. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices and rights you have.

By using our website, submitting a form, or communicating with us, you agree to the practices described in this Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or submit information to us.

1. Who We Are

Adawk LLC is a limited liability company registered in the United States, with operating and registered offices in the United States, United Kingdom, and Pakistan.

Primary place of business (United States): Adawk LLC 32 N Gould St, Sheridan, WY 82801, United States

Full contact details for all our offices are listed in Section 16 — Contact Us.

For visitors in the United Kingdom and the European Economic Area, Adawk LLC acts as the data controller for personal information collected through our website and services, unless we tell you otherwise in writing (for example, where we process data on behalf of a client, in which case we act as a data processor).

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information You Give Us Directly

  • Identity and contact details — name, business name, job title, email address, postal address, and phone number (including mobile number).
  • Enquiry and project information — the content of messages, briefs, requirements, and any files or materials you send us.
  • Account and billing information — billing address, purchase history, and records of services provided. Card payments are handled by our third-party payment processors; we do not store full payment card numbers on our systems.
  • Communications — emails, SMS/text messages, chat messages, call records, and support tickets.
  • Marketing preferences — your consent choices, subscription status, and opt-in or opt-out requests.

2.2 Information We Collect Automatically

When you visit our website, we and our analytics providers may collect:

  • IP address, approximate location (city/country level), and time zone
  • Browser type and version, operating system, and device type
  • Pages viewed, referring URLs, links clicked, and time spent on pages
  • Cookie identifiers and similar technologies (see Section 8 — Cookies)

2.3 Information From Third Parties

We may receive limited information from advertising platforms, analytics providers, lead-generation partners, publicly available business directories, and social media platforms where you have interacted with our pages or ads.

2.4 Sensitive Information

We do not seek to collect sensitive or special category personal data (such as health, religious beliefs, or biometric data). Please do not send us such information unless we specifically request it for a legitimate, agreed purpose.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Respond to your enquiries, quotes, and requests
  • Provide, deliver, and support the services you have engaged us for
  • Send transactional and service-related messages, including appointment confirmations, project updates, invoices, and account notices
  • Send SMS/text messages where you have given us consent (see Section 5)
  • Process payments and maintain financial and tax records
  • Improve our website, services, and customer experience
  • Send marketing communications where permitted by law or where you have opted in
  • Detect, prevent, and investigate fraud, abuse, and security incidents
  • Comply with legal, regulatory, accounting, and reporting obligations

3.1 Our Legal Bases (UK/EEA Visitors)

Where UK GDPR or EU GDPR applies, we rely on the following legal bases: performance of a contract (delivering our services), legitimate interests (running and improving our business, security, and B2B communications), consent (SMS marketing, non-essential cookies, and email newsletters), and legal obligation (tax, accounting, and regulatory requirements).

Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.

4. Text Messaging (SMS) Program

If you provide your mobile phone number and consent to receive text messages from Adawk LLC, the following applies:

  • Consent. By submitting your mobile number through a form on our website, in writing, or verbally, you consent to receive SMS messages from Adawk LLC at that number. Consent to receive marketing text messages is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services from us.
  • Message types. Messages may include appointment reminders, project and order updates, account and billing notices, customer support replies, and — where you have specifically opted in — promotional offers.
  • Message frequency. Message frequency will vary depending on your interactions with us and the service you have requested.
  • Rates. Message and data rates may apply. These are charged by your mobile carrier, not by Adawk.
  • Opting out. You may cancel at any time by replying STOP to any message. You will receive a single confirmation message and will not receive further SMS from us unless you opt in again.
  • Help. Reply HELP for customer care contact information, or contact us at hello@adawk.com or any of the office numbers listed in Section 16.
  • Carriers. Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

5. Mobile Information and Third Parties — Important Notice

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All of the categories of information described in this Policy exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

Your personal information — including your phone number and mobile opt-in data — will not be sold, rented, or shared with third parties for their own marketing purposes under any circumstances.

Mobile opt-in and consent data may only be disclosed to the SMS platform and telecommunications providers strictly necessary to transmit the messages you have requested, and only to the extent required to deliver that service. These providers are contractually prohibited from using the information for their own marketing.

6. How We Share Information

We share personal information only in the following limited circumstances:

  • Service providers (processors) who act on our instructions — including web hosting, cloud storage, email delivery, CRM and helpdesk platforms, telephony and SMS providers, analytics providers, and payment processors. These providers may only use the data to perform services for us.
  • Professional advisers such as accountants, auditors, insurers, and lawyers, where necessary.
  • Legal and regulatory disclosure where required by applicable law, court order, subpoena, or governmental request, or to protect our rights, safety, property, or that of others.
  • Business transfers — if Adawk is involved in a merger, acquisition, restructuring, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this Policy.
  • With your consent or at your direction.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising in a manner that would constitute a “sale” or “sharing” under applicable US state privacy laws.

7. International Transfers

Adawk operates in the United States, the United Kingdom, and Pakistan. Your information may therefore be transferred to, stored in, and processed in countries other than your own, including the United States and Pakistan, which may not offer the same level of data protection as your home country.

Where we transfer personal data out of the UK or EEA, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as UK International Data Transfer Agreements, the EU Standard Contractual Clauses, or an applicable adequacy decision. You may request further information about these safeguards using the contact details in Section 16.

8. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies to operate the site, remember your preferences, measure traffic, and — where permitted — support advertising and remarketing.

Categories we use:

  • Strictly necessary — required for the site to function (cannot be disabled).
  • Analytics/performance — help us understand how visitors use the site.
  • Functional — remember your settings and preferences.
  • Advertising/targeting — used to measure campaign effectiveness and, where consented, deliver relevant ads.

You can control cookies through your browser settings and, where available, our cookie banner. Blocking some cookies may affect site functionality. We honour Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals where technically feasible.

9. Data Retention

We keep personal information only for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including:

  • Enquiries that do not become projects — typically up to 24 months
  • Client records and project files — for the duration of the relationship and typically 6–7 years afterwards, to meet contractual, tax, and accounting obligations
  • SMS consent and opt-out records — retained for as long as required to evidence compliance with applicable messaging regulations, and after opt-out solely to ensure we do not message you again
  • Marketing lists — until you unsubscribe, plus a short suppression record

When information is no longer needed, we securely delete or anonymise it.

10. Data Security

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal information, including encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS), access controls and role-based permissions, secured hosting environments, and staff confidentiality obligations. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a breach affecting your personal data occurs, we will notify you and the relevant authorities where required by law.

11. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have some or all of the following rights:

  • Access — request a copy of the personal information we hold about you
  • Correction — ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete information
  • Deletion — ask us to delete your information, subject to legal exceptions
  • Restriction and objection — object to or restrict certain processing, including direct marketing
  • Portability — receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format
  • Withdraw consent — including opting out of SMS and email marketing at any time
  • Non-discrimination — we will not deny you services or provide a different level of service because you exercised your privacy rights

To make a request, email hello@adawk.com with the subject line “Privacy Request.” We will verify your identity before acting, and we aim to respond within 30 days (or 45 days where US state law allows, with notice). An authorised agent may submit a request on your behalf with proof of authorisation.

11.1 UK and EEA Residents

You have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. In the UK, this is the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk. We would appreciate the chance to address your concerns first.

11.2 California and Other US State Residents

If you are a California resident, you have rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including the right to know the categories and specific pieces of personal information collected, the purposes of collection, and the categories of third parties to whom it is disclosed; the right to delete and correct; and the right to opt out of sale or sharing. Adawk does not sell personal information and does not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. Residents of other US states with comparable laws (including Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah, Texas, and Oregon) may exercise equivalent rights using the same contact details.

12. Marketing Communications

You can unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in any email, reply STOP to any SMS, or contact us directly. We will continue to send necessary transactional messages relating to services you have purchased or requested.

13. Children’s Privacy

Our website and services are intended for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16 (or under 13 in the United States). If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it promptly.

14. Third-Party Links and Client Websites

Our website may link to third-party sites and platforms that we do not control. This Policy does not apply to them, and we are not responsible for their privacy practices. Where we manage advertising accounts, websites, or CRM systems on behalf of a client, we process data under that client’s instructions and their privacy policy governs how that data is used.

15. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, or legal requirements. The “Last Updated” date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised. Material changes will be highlighted on our website. Please review this page periodically.
